The private carrier US-Bangla Airlines is going to add another daily flight to Sylhet from Dhaka effective March 29 to meet the increasing demand of passengers on the route.
Currently, the airline operates two daily flights to Sylhet from Dhaka. With the increased frequency, the number of daily flights the carrier operates on the Dhaka-Sylhet route will reach three.
Hence, with the third daily flight, the carrier will fly from Dhaka to Sylhet at 10:45 am, 12:45 pm and 6:15 pm every day while the return flights from Sylhet will depart at 12:05 pm, 02:05 pm, and 07:30 pm respectively. Currently, US-Bangla operates flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Barishal in the domestic sector and internationally the airline flies to Kolkata, Chennai, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Doha, and Muscat.
At present, US-Bangla Airlines has a total of 13 aircraft in its fleet, biggest for any private airline, out of which, four are Boeing 737-800, six are Brand New ATR 72-600 and three are Dash 8-Q400.
